Microsoft Teams and Apple Airpod compatability

Hi - I use Microsoft Teams regularly (many times a day) to conduct business meetings.  I very recently bought a pair of Apple Airpods (Pro) as my old plug-in headphones stopped working after several years of service.  I run Teams on my Macbook Pro laptop.

Unfortunately, I can't get the Airpods working with Teams.  People in the meeting can hear me perfectly, but I can't hear them.  I'd appreciate it if somebody could offer some advice on how to get this configured.

Thanks.

    Hi BWinBn

Just bought the Jabra 370 MS Bluetooth adapter for around €45 and installed the software from Jabra. I can confirm that it works perfectly with my Apple Airpods Pro. Very happy to finally have a solution. The software is switching automatically between the stereo music and the microphone mode. I listen to music with perfect quality and can have Microsoft Teams calls in between. Always using my AirPods Pro. Very cool :)

Strange. I also but the MS370 as the possible solution. My Apple Airpods are sometimes recognized by the 370MS but mostly the didn’t. A have some discussion with Jabra over the mail but conclusion from Jabra ‘we do not support Apple Airpods’.

The reddit link https://www.reddit.com/r/airpods/comments/f7jpj7/using\_your\_airpods\_with\_their\_microphones\_on/ did say the new S380 is more compatible so I do not know.  Jabra probably didn't want to deal with us apple ppl.  I do not have my S380 yet will test it and reply here when I get it June 18 :( at the mean time it Team seems to work with any other headset like cheap bose :).

    bwin.

I also recently bought the airpods pro and I’m using it through my iphone via the companion mode. Perfect stereo quality. Very easy and cheap solution.

    Hi LisaMac2,

Option 1: Connect MS team from Laptop.

When you select the option of audio by phone then enter your number.  After that all audio going thru your phone wher you can connect to your airpod pro.

Option 2: Connect to Ms Team on your phone app with audio then connect to the same meeting on your laptop without audio.  This way you can see presentation on big screen.

No audio echo or feedback from the above work around.

Option 3 ( I have not tested it). :) this option will cost $75 to 100.https://www.reddit.com/r/airpods/comments/f7jpj7/using_your_airpods_with_their_microphones_on/. I purchased this device testing it out this week.

    goodluck!
