Microsoft Teams and Apple Airpod compatability

Hi - I use Microsoft Teams regularly (many times a day) to conduct business meetings.  I very recently bought a pair of Apple Airpods (Pro) as my old plug-in headphones stopped working after several years of service.  I run Teams on my Macbook Pro laptop.

Unfortunately, I can't get the Airpods working with Teams.  People in the meeting can hear me perfectly, but I can't hear them.  I'd appreciate it if somebody could offer some advice on how to get this configured.

    the most upsetting thing is that there is no comment from either microsoft or apple.

    Yes windows 10

    I can get them to work but only if i use microphone on laptop and i have to reset the volume after every call in advanced settings. A real pain when you have back to back meetings or recieve a call.

    Are you using Windows?  I'm on an iMac and my AirPod Pros are working great.

    I couldn't agree more.  It's inexcusable Microsoft hasn't resolved the problem by now.  I was able to successfully test the Airpods in Teams and could hear and speak, but a subsequent Teams call only resulted in me being able to be heard but not hear.  Ridiculous.

    I was just able to successfully use my new Airpods to hear and speak on a Zoom meeting.  Had to make sure Zoom Audio was set to use the Airpods but no other actions were necessary.  My company pays for Teams and Skype but I will start using the currently-free Zoom for all my meetings instead.

    So, Microsoft, we Airpod owners do have other options!

    This does not solve the issue though.

    my company does not use zoom.
