Microsoft Teams and Apple Airpod compatability

Hi - I use Microsoft Teams regularly (many times a day) to conduct business meetings.  I very recently bought a pair of Apple Airpods (Pro) as my old plug-in headphones stopped working after several years of service.  I run Teams on my Macbook Pro laptop.

Unfortunately, I can't get the Airpods working with Teams.  People in the meeting can hear me perfectly, but I can't hear them.  I'd appreciate it if somebody could offer some advice on how to get this configured.

Thanks.

@Microsoft - When will you release a fix for this issue? This is really frustrating where airpod's are not compatible with teams. Teams is a superb software but this glitch is causing a lot of frustration. The problem is until you try to use it with teams on Windows you never realize that there may be a compatibility issue with teams in windows and airpods, but by then its too late and the purchase has already been made. I hope you will release a fix soon to make teams better. Thx.

we actually figured out how to make it work, you just have to go to the sound controls and select your airpods from the drop down menu for each application, then they work fine.

My question is had Apple applied to Microsoft for status as an Approved and Certified product?  Do they bear any responsibility?

OMG, this was reported in january and it still doesnt work in August??

Its been ongoing way before that. The most upsetting thing is that neither apple or microsoft through other support tickets will acknowledge or explain why it doesnt work. If there is a technical explanation that would go someway ....
