Microsoft Teams and Apple Airpod compatability

Hi - I use Microsoft Teams regularly (many times a day) to conduct business meetings.  I very recently bought a pair of Apple Airpods (Pro) as my old plug-in headphones stopped working after several years of service.  I run Teams on my Macbook Pro laptop.

Unfortunately, I can't get the Airpods working with Teams.  People in the meeting can hear me perfectly, but I can't hear them.  I'd appreciate it if somebody could offer some advice on how to get this configured.

Thanks.

    Paul,

I purchased my Pros recently and have been using them with Teams on my desktop and laptop PC.  All of the sudden in the last week they have stopped working.  Do you have any issues since any updates in Teams or Apple Airpod updates?

At this time there is no workaround. Our engineers are working with Apple developers to find fixes for these issues. I understand this inconvenince totally, please wait for the updates in the future.

    Sincerely,

    Shawn

My actually worked great for a while.  My Airpod Pros.  All of the sudden either after a Teams update or my Airpod update, they no longer work.  I'm very disappointed.  That is one of the main reasons I spent $250 on them.  Anyway, I am replaying to a year old post.  Any updates?

I use them all the time without issues. There are currently 27 pages of discussion to this question and I unfortunately don't have the time to read all of that, so I post what I do here so that you can see it in case it helps. If this is a complete duplication to what someone else posted, I apologize in advance for that.

    What I do:

    1. Connect my airpods pro to my macbook pro.
    2. Use the audio pulldown on the top menu and pick the airpods pro

    1. Test to see that I can hear video (I just listen to a youtube video). Also good to test an apple product like facetime if you can
    2. In MS Teams, select the three dots and then device settings

5.Select airpods pro from the drop downs

I've been using this for many months now without issues. I hope this helps.

    Paul

    I

Can you be more specific on how to change the profile ?

I'm trying to use my new Airpods pro with Teams on Windows 10.  I read a lot of comments on the Web but it is the first time i see that kind of information.

    Thanking you in advance.

    Hi,

I use my Airpods pro with Teams for Linux. They work perfectly (as mic AND speaker). I have to change the profile to "HSP/HFP" instead of "A2DP Sink" when I use them with Teams.
