My airpods DID work great with Teams on my Macbook for work until 2 weeks ago. I used airpods with Teams for 9 months and suddenly my airpods made me sound like a robot on Team ( coworker sent me a video). I thought my airpods went bad and started using
old pluggin Iphone earbuds. I realized that my airpods work fine on my iphone, other devices and while using other conferencing applications on my Macbook. Today I tried using my Aipods again on Team with no success and my different co-worker said she recently
started having the same issues with Team and her Airpods....
You would think it was a simple bluetooth connect and functionality wouldn't be an issue since they worked fine for so long. Especially using Airpods with a MacBook and Teams being an application on the device. The sudden change is very suspicious....
Maybe I'm extra bitter because Microsoft's Outlook/Teams outage this week created a new set of issues.
If you aren't going to let Airpods work with teams a majority of the time, don't say they aren't "officially supported". Say they are "not compatible", so we don't waist time trouble shooting. Be up front.
