Microsoft Teams and Apple Airpod compatability

Hi - I use Microsoft Teams regularly (many times a day) to conduct business meetings.  I very recently bought a pair of Apple Airpods (Pro) as my old plug-in headphones stopped working after several years of service.  I run Teams on my Macbook Pro laptop.

Unfortunately, I can't get the Airpods working with Teams.  People in the meeting can hear me perfectly, but I can't hear them.  I'd appreciate it if somebody could offer some advice on how to get this configured.

    Zoom doesnt work well with iPod Pros either, I get team members complaining about "echo"

    I received Apple AirPod (Pros) for Christmas and I might as well add my complaint, hoping Microsoft sees this is still an issue. I would rather not use Teams and use my AirPods then use a second headset and continue using Teams.

    I thought about whether or not to post this. But in the end I decided to because AirPods, although great headphones, are not an ideal solution for video conferencing or for recording wireless Bluetooth audio. Apple does not even support Bluetooth audio when using their native video app on iPhones and iPads. As I mentioned in my post that we are letting people know there is an alternative as our product is optimized for video. You may not agree with that. But for someone researching AirPods before buying or maybe just want something that works for them we think it is worth letting them know that there is another option. I don't think keeping this a secret is a good idea.
