How to not pop out the meeting window as a separate window?

I'm not sureif it was an update or something. But all of a sudden everytime I join a meeting, it pops out to a separate window. I really hate this since I usually minimize the window within teams to do other tasks. How can I make sure that it doesn't get split into 2 windows? I really can't focus with this, how do I make it go back to normal?

My name is Veejay, an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you and I'll be glad to help you.

If you don't want to pop out the meeting in a separate window, you should disable "Turn on new meeting experience"

To do that:

Click on your Profile Picture > Settings > Under General Tab, Go to Application Section > Uncheck/Disable "Turn on new meeting experience". > Close Window.

After that, Restart Teams by right clicking on the Teams icon at the task bar > Quit.

Then start Teams app again.

    Hi there,

    This is no longer an option and being forced for something which could be easily optional (and actually it was before...) is annoying. Please put back the option. And this should not take more than a minute.

    Please, can you offer us the option to DISABLE this extremely annoying feature? I hate the meeting pop out messing up all around my screen. I am about to commit suicide!

    Removing this option was a mistake.  A solution in search of a problem, 100%.

    Teams is far less user friendly when I have to go searching around for the second little meeting window.  You've got about 3000 people already looking for how to un-do this.

    Stop annoying your paying customers.
