How to not pop out the meeting window as a separate window?

I'm not sureif it was an update or something. But all of a sudden everytime I join a meeting, it pops out to a separate window. I really hate this since I usually minimize the window within teams to do other tasks. How can I make sure that it doesn't get split into 2 windows? I really can't focus with this, how do I make it go back to normal?

My name is Veejay, an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you and I'll be glad to help you.

If you don't want to pop out the meeting in a separate window, you should disable "Turn on new meeting experience"

To do that:

Click on your Profile Picture > Settings > Under General Tab, Go to Application Section > Uncheck/Disable "Turn on new meeting experience". > Close Window.

After that, Restart Teams by right clicking on the Teams icon at the task bar > Quit.

Then start Teams app again.

    Hi!

    In the latest update, the option to turn off the new meeting experience is gone. I really want one window. Otherwise, I have too many things open on my desktop. I really, really, honest and truly hate mulitple windows on Teams. Please add it back in.

    It is so confusing and difficult to use the program now. Please restore the option to have everything in one window!
