Bluetooth device keeps getting disconnected during Teams meetings

Hi,

I use the wireless JBL Endurance Sprint Headphones to connect to meetings on my Teams app on my work laptop.

This was working fine until a few days ago. But, from the past few days my headphones gets disconnected every few seconds.

This is terribly agonizing - I can't hear the audio and get tuned out from  the conversation. I need to turn on my headphones again every time it gets disconnected. I end up losing parts of the conversation and it gets extremely awkward frequently requesting the other person to repeat what they said.

I initially thought it might be my headphones, but it works really well with the same laptop on other applications. Works fine on other devices too.

I tried updating driver software for my Bluetooth device. Looks like it's up-to-date.

I have no idea how to fix this.

Similar questions had answers to uncheck the "Disable bluetooth device for power savings" under Power Management Tab ( Device Manager -> Bluetooth-> Adapter-> Properties). I don't see this tab anymore

Please help fix this ASAP.

On Windows 10 64 - bit version 1.3.00.24755 of Teams:

This is happening to me too.  The microsoft mouse and microsoft keyboard both stop working in the middle of the meeting.  My bluetooth

headphones keep working.  I can talk and listen...but can't type or mouse..I have to go to my laptop keyboard and mouse to continue to take notes, etc.

    Very annoying.

Please advise why this is happening.  I will try the web version next and see if those issues stop happening.

I am trying the web app instead of the desktop app as well.  On 9/30...did not have any disconnections in that setup.  I agree with Isabella - seems like a problem with the desktop app.

I'm now having it happen with just the Teams in a browser session.....

I have a ms surface mouse, ms surface keyboard and I'm using Sony WH-1000MX3 bluetooth headphones.

Headphones keep working, but mouse and keyboard stop.

Leave meeting....and then the keyboard and mouse start working again!

MICROSOFT - Can you help fix this?

Microsoft Teams [App] disconnects my Bluetooth headset [Bose] after 20 minutes in a meeting.  Two different computers.  One "solution" suggested here was to use a Bluetooth dongle instead of the on-board unit.  I purchased a USB dongle and configured it.  First meeting [just now] headset worked for 20 minutes.  COME ON, MICROSOFT, DO YOU EVEN *DO* SOFTWARE?

***Update***  Bose updater website found, updated firmware appears to have solved the issue; since updating from v1.0.8 to v3.0.3, have made it through several Teams meetings exceeding 30 minutes without problem.
