Bluetooth device keeps getting disconnected during Teams meetings

Hi,

I use the wireless JBL Endurance Sprint Headphones to connect to meetings on my Teams app on my work laptop.

This was working fine until a few days ago. But, from the past few days my headphones gets disconnected every few seconds.

This is terribly agonizing - I can't hear the audio and get tuned out from  the conversation. I need to turn on my headphones again every time it gets disconnected. I end up losing parts of the conversation and it gets extremely awkward frequently requesting the other person to repeat what they said.

I initially thought it might be my headphones, but it works really well with the same laptop on other applications. Works fine on other devices too.

I tried updating driver software for my Bluetooth device. Looks like it's up-to-date.

I have no idea how to fix this.

Similar questions had answers to uncheck the "Disable bluetooth device for power savings" under Power Management Tab ( Device Manager -> Bluetooth-> Adapter-> Properties). I don't see this tab anymore

Please help fix this ASAP.

The Bluetooth device is configured properly. The problem is for some reason the device keeps getting disconnected with Teams meeting.

The connection seems to work fine on the Web Version, Teams App on phone, even other applications on the same laptop.

I don't see any settings under Teams -> Settings that disables the device.

I tried attending meetings through the Web version of Teams and the Teams App on my Android.

I don't see the same problem on there.

I see this happening only with the Teams App on my Desktop.

I have attempted to uninstall and reinstall Teams, but the problem persists.

    Same problem.

Using Bose QS35 II. The headphones disconnects from bluetooth every time I join a meeting, 1-3 seconds in.

Working flawless with all other apps except Teams.

This is obviously a bug that needs to be fixed.

    Running MacOS Catalina 10.15.7.

I am trying the web app instead of the desktop app as well.  On 9/30...did not have any disconnections in that setup.  I agree with Isabella - seems like a problem with the desktop app.

I'm regularly having the same problem while in Teams on Windows 10.

Bluetooth connectivity is lost mid-meeting and I need to reboot to restore it - very embarrassing when in a meeting
