Unable to login to Teams - That code didn't work. Check the code and try again

I am trying to login into Microsoft Teams. I enter email address and password and all is good. It then asks for my mobile number and sends me a txt msg with a 4 digit code. I enter this code and then get the following error: "That code didn't work. Check the code and try again." Obviously I have entered the code correctly. What to do next to get this resolved?

    I have now  tried using chrome and  following  the link provided and have same error  this is very very urgent?.

    I am using the  ms teams app on my  android  tablet and get the same error  plus I've  reinstalled  the app.. I  need this to work asap?.

    same problem, very frustrating!!!!! asked me for phone number to send code, then the codes never worked... and now tells me to try again tomorrow. and in two days i need this for conference call. help!
