Hiding Teams Control Task Bar (at Bottom of Teams Screen) During a Meeting (So Screenshot of Shared Screen is Clean)

Anyone know if there's a way to hide the default Teams meeting control task bar at the bottom of the screen so I can take screenshots of what is being shared/displayed on the without that in the way? Thanks.

Also, Teams isn't a "Category" option when I'm posting this. Nor is it listed in the "Office Topic" while "Skype" still is. Might want to update that since Teams has been released. As such, I'm having to post in "Unknown/Other".

Based on your description, you want to hiding the Teams control task bar (like below picture). I just tested this on my side, the task bar will auto hiding after you move your mouse outside of the sharing screen for a while. Could you please test this on your side to see if this works for you?

    Thanks for your reply, based on my experiencing, there is no an option to disable the control bar during screen sharing in Teams.

    Regarding your question to capture a screenshoot, I just tested this on my side, I can use the Windows default tool “Snipping Tool” to capture the shared screen without the control bar. Please kindly type “Snipping Tool” in the Windows search box to open the tool and then you can keep the tool on the top of the sharing screen and move your mouse to the tool, when doing so, then control bar is still hiding and you can click “New” to get the screenshoot.

    Thanks Jennifer for placing this question in the Office365 forum category and for your response. You are correct regarding what I'm trying to achieve, and we've also noticed that the task bar disappears when the mouse is moved outside the sharing screen. However, when using a 3rd party screenshot application (or even the native Alt+PrntScrn function), one must move the mouse back onto the screen/window of choice before clicking/selecting to capture the screenshot. When that happens, the task bar reappears.

    What I'm looking for is some kind of settings/manual override to get that task bar to go away regardless of where the mouse is located (e.g. right click on that task bar and select "Hide Meeting Task Bar" or similar). I can't even select the screen and use the embedded Windows Alt+PrntScrn function without the task bar continuing to pop up. I can use the full PrntScrn function (without the Alt key) when the mouse is elsewhere, but that captures everything on both my 2 monitors, when all I want to capture is what is being shared in Teams.

    From an audit or evidentiary perspective when capturing screenshots, there should be nothing blocking or hiding what is on the other party's shared screen. When something is in the way, it can give the illusion that something is missing from the screenshot, when the item in question is actually behind the unwanted/unneeded task bar. In addition, other meeting utilities (I won't list them here but they are common ones that many large organizations use or have used before going to Teams now) have settings to manually override task bar type buttons from constantly appearing, but I'm still not seeing anything similar in Teams. Thanks.
