Hiding Teams Control Task Bar (at Bottom of Teams Screen) During a Meeting (So Screenshot of Shared Screen is Clean)

Anyone know if there's a way to hide the default Teams meeting control task bar at the bottom of the screen so I can take screenshots of what is being shared/displayed on the without that in the way? Thanks.

Also, Teams isn't a "Category" option when I'm posting this. Nor is it listed in the "Office Topic" while "Skype" still is. Might want to update that since Teams has been released. As such, I'm having to post in "Unknown/Other".

Based on your description, you want to hiding the Teams control task bar (like below picture). I just tested this on my side, the task bar will auto hiding after you move your mouse outside of the sharing screen for a while. Could you please test this on your side to see if this works for you?

    Turns out some of the people at my co. have been talking w/MS and brought this up directly with the MS Dev team...so it appears they've finally listened!! Hallelujah!

    Problem solved! had to wait for the Teams update. However after the update and restart the control bar would stay away after touching the Teams side bar. I could then navigate to the second screen away from Teams and work without the control bar returning. When I returned to the Teams screen, touched the screen and moved the mouse the control bar came active. Many thanks!

    Looks promising, though it does not actually solve the intial problem. In my case however, the setting does not persist (i.e. it is unchecked after restarting Teams) - perhaps this is some policy the Teams admin must change?

    actually, this doesn't solve the original problem.  because the meeting is still in that window, the sharing is still in that window.  even if the sharing is in a different window, you need to switch to this meeting window if you want to mute, and then everyone sees you switch to this window, perhaps by a black overlay if you're not sharing it.

    several weeks ago, I don't know which version, the menu bar used to show up on my second screen, as a little window, along with who was speaking at the time (and I'm sure it could show as a separate window on the same screen).  I could mute from that menu bar and not disturb the presentation.  that's the functionality I want back!  and it would address everyone's concern here also!  (I think.)  I don't need the whole meeting in a new window, I just need the menu bar in a new window!
