Hiding Teams Control Task Bar (at Bottom of Teams Screen) During a Meeting (So Screenshot of Shared Screen is Clean)

Anyone know if there's a way to hide the default Teams meeting control task bar at the bottom of the screen so I can take screenshots of what is being shared/displayed on the without that in the way? Thanks.

Also, Teams isn't a "Category" option when I'm posting this. Nor is it listed in the "Office Topic" while "Skype" still is. Might want to update that since Teams has been released. As such, I'm having to post in "Unknown/Other".

Based on your description, you want to hiding the Teams control task bar (like below picture). I just tested this on my side, the task bar will auto hiding after you move your mouse outside of the sharing screen for a while. Could you please test this on your side to see if this works for you?

    actually, this doesn't solve the original problem.  because the meeting is still in that window, the sharing is still in that window.  even if the sharing is in a different window, you need to switch to this meeting window if you want to mute, and then everyone sees you switch to this window, perhaps by a black overlay if you're not sharing it.

    several weeks ago, I don't know which version, the menu bar used to show up on my second screen, as a little window, along with who was speaking at the time (and I'm sure it could show as a separate window on the same screen).  I could mute from that menu bar and not disturb the presentation.  that's the functionality I want back!  and it would address everyone's concern here also!  (I think.)  I don't need the whole meeting in a new window, I just need the menu bar in a new window!

    WELL DONE MS, ISSUE IS FIXED -

    1.CHECK FOR UPDATES

    1. ACTIVATE "Turn on new meeting experience (New meetings and calls will open in separate windows. Requires restarting Teams.)" IN SETTINGS
    2. RESTART

    JimH,

    At times we have to move from one screen to another for different purposes, and whenever you come back to MS Teams screen, you will surely see the bottom annoying bar. If you are just watching somebody's presentation, then it is right.

    However, majority of the users are not just watching the screen, but they are making notes or taking screen shots, etc., and due to that reason, it is surely going to become an irritatitive bottom bar.

    Better if Microsoft provides quick resolution to this largely raised concern related to MS Teams.

    I just viewed a Teams presentation with a slide show where if I clicked to the right of the slide show the bar disappeared and didn't re-appear until I clicked on the slide show.
