Hiding Teams Control Task Bar (at Bottom of Teams Screen) During a Meeting (So Screenshot of Shared Screen is Clean)

Anyone know if there's a way to hide the default Teams meeting control task bar at the bottom of the screen so I can take screenshots of what is being shared/displayed on the without that in the way? Thanks.

Also, Teams isn't a "Category" option when I'm posting this. Nor is it listed in the "Office Topic" while "Skype" still is. Might want to update that since Teams has been released. As such, I'm having to post in "Unknown/Other".

Based on your description, you want to hiding the Teams control task bar (like below picture). I just tested this on my side, the task bar will auto hiding after you move your mouse outside of the sharing screen for a while. Could you please test this on your side to see if this works for you?

    Is there any reason this answer hasn't been revoked? Clearly, based on the hundreds of replies here, this can't truly be the one and final answer to this problem? As some readers note, this is such a big issue that Zoom is being used as a replacement...and this is the case I'm starting to see as well.

    I'd like to add to the growing consensus that the taskbar urgently needs the ability to be hidden or docked elsewhere so as to not obscure the screen.  Colleagues at my institution are reaching for Zoom whenever possible for reasons such as this.  This ongoing pandemic is an audition of sorts for many teleconferencing platforms and it may behoove Microsoft to address an issue that was first brought to attention in Aug 2019.

    If this improvement is already in process, I thank you in advance and look forward to it.

    Do we have any options to hide it based on our wish?

    There should be an option if I want to decide that during my entire meeting, I don't want to see the bar unless I click on a particular button / option, it should remain as hidden. Currently this bar is really an irritating especially during training sessions where users have to take screenshots, everytime clicking on the screen to make it disappear is not feasible option.

    Microsoft should do something real quick in order to continue in the competition of webmeeting apps.

    The Teams taskbar doesn't go away, obscures parts of the display, can't be moved, changed, or altered and isn't impacted by any Taskbar or Teams settings. This fact alone makes this product inferior to almost every other conferencing software product. If MicroSoft is pushing this particular software package to be the end-all,be-all, it's going to have to be at least as useful as any other package.
