Hiding Teams Control Task Bar (at Bottom of Teams Screen) During a Meeting (So Screenshot of Shared Screen is Clean)

Anyone know if there's a way to hide the default Teams meeting control task bar at the bottom of the screen so I can take screenshots of what is being shared/displayed on the without that in the way? Thanks.

Also, Teams isn't a "Category" option when I'm posting this. Nor is it listed in the "Office Topic" while "Skype" still is. Might want to update that since Teams has been released. As such, I'm having to post in "Unknown/Other".

Moved from Unknown/other  / Windows 10  / Unknown/other

Hi BenBo_2020,

Thanks for post your question in our forum, I have moved your thread to the correct category “Office 365 for admins  / Microsoft Teams  / Office 365 for business”, if you have any other questions when using Teams in the future, welcome to post a new thread in our forum.

Based on your description, you want to hiding the Teams control task bar (like below picture). I just tested this on my side, the task bar will auto hiding after you move your mouse outside of the sharing screen for a while. Could you please test this on your side to see if this works for you?

Hope above information helps. Please feel free to share the result with us or let me know if you need further suggestions, I'll happy to continue to help you.

Best regards,

Jennifer

Hi, Jennifer.  Can we please get a status update on this.  It is extremely annoying and should be a very basic feature.  Thank you!

Like many others I use a monitor with my laptop with extended display. When i have a teams meeting in one window and something else displayed in the the other the task bar does not disappear when I move my mouse out of the teams call. It stays there and is a great hindrance.

Same thing with me.  I think I fixed it.  When I wasn't in TEAMs I right clicked my computer taskbar at the bottom of the screen and it was checked to "Lock all taskbars".  The TEAMs taskbar now hides!

I was not presenting. I was observing an other's presentation and could not move the bar to see their content. It would not auto hide when I move my cursor off the screen. It's annoying
