Hiding Teams Control Task Bar (at Bottom of Teams Screen) During a Meeting (So Screenshot of Shared Screen is Clean)

Anyone know if there's a way to hide the default Teams meeting control task bar at the bottom of the screen so I can take screenshots of what is being shared/displayed on the without that in the way? Thanks.

Also, Teams isn't a "Category" option when I'm posting this. Nor is it listed in the "Office Topic" while "Skype" still is. Might want to update that since Teams has been released. As such, I'm having to post in "Unknown/Other".

Based on your description, you want to hiding the Teams control task bar (like below picture). I just tested this on my side, the task bar will auto hiding after you move your mouse outside of the sharing screen for a while. Could you please test this on your side to see if this works for you?

    I agree. It's very annoying to not be able to see the bottom of presentation slide because it's covered by this control bar. 

    The user needs to be able to hide these controls or minimize them.

    That's absolutely true. It is so annoying to have that block screen especially during screen-sharing session.

    It is a lousy design indeed.

    Hi Jennifer,

    We have the same issue. During the team call, if anyone is sharing the screen and we need to take a quick screenshot, we are unable to do so, because the control task bar kind of blocks the view and by the time the task bar hides itself, important stuff are already missed.

    Its also a big issue when it comes to screen sharing session. It almost blocks the screen and pretty annoying. Also we are not allowed to record every session, as per company policy.

    It would be great if you could add this as new patch or implement a code to have hide/unhide option. That would largely help everyone.

    There really needs to be an option placed on the  [...[ selection to hide the taskbar of micorphone/audiot/participants, etc .....   Skype was able to do this and it is an intrinsic flaw in the design of the Teams app .... An example is that the taskbar doesn't always go away in the 3 sec timeframe that was being described ...  a lousy design ...
