Hiding Teams Control Task Bar (at Bottom of Teams Screen) During a Meeting (So Screenshot of Shared Screen is Clean)

This is nice but not necessary or appropriate.  Teams should add a button to hide the bar!!!

I share your frustration and admire your efforts.

Again,  here's what works for me ; starting with TEAMS closed and you have time to test this :

1. BEFORE the meeting starts , open Outlook email so  the monitor shows mostly  normal  white space and email  stuff.  
2. Now  open any old  TEAMS meeting . It should say "Waiting for others to join"  and the problem Control Bar..  Note that TEAMS  completely covers the OUTLOOK screen. ..everything is dark . There is no part of OUTLOOK visible. 
3. Use your mouse , grab a corner of TEAMS, and shrink it down so there is some OUTLOOK white all around TEAMS.  ( 1/2 inch or so ) 
4. Now , if you park the mouse pointer on the OUTLOOK white part (DON"T click or wiggle !) the TEAMS control bar will fade after 2 or 3  long seconds.
5. After the fade, you can move the mouse but  DO NOT touch TEAMS . Practice before the meeting starts  ;  test top , bottom and sides to see   the area the mouse hits that re-activates the  bar

6.  when the meeting starts , repeat the TEAMS shrink to provide white space to park the mouse 

 The bar should fade as during the practice .

It may be possible to take a screen shot if the mouse pointer NEVER TOUCHES the TEAMS screen.

Best you can do since they won't fix the bar issue: click on your profile icon and zoom to the lowest setting <60%> ( this shrinks the window garbage and floating bar, sometimes getting it below the presentation depending on your monitor size... this is ironic as you would think zooming out would make presentation smaller, but it gets BIGGER... another 10 points for the worst interface in the on line meeting space).  For chatting you need to open up an old meeting in a web browser, click OK for no audio or video, and instead of joining the meeting, click CHAT on the left navigation bar.  Now you have a less intrusive TEAMS window and a separate chat window.  You have to go back to 100% or whatever zoom if you want your primary TEAMS window chat font to be larger size...pain switching it back and forth but worth it to shrink the floating bar during presentations.

MS, put the bar on the right, or make it a pull down from above... anything but on top of the presentation that I am trying to watch and take screenshots!

I am not sure you are talking about the same bar. ALL of my meetings, most of them anyway, get recorded and even after I dismiss the recording warning the control bar shows up in the middle of the screen. Anytime you move the mouse, no matter where on the monitor, it triggers the bar to show up again so there is no way to do anything else while watching a presentation, unless you don't mind having part of the screen blocked and don't want to read whatever is being blocked. This has to be the most annoying meeting software in the market. Nothing else is this poorly designed but once corporate subscribes to the Microsoft drug, they are stuck with it. And who can blame them, since it probably costs much less or nothing at all. Meanwhile I have to wait for the powerpoint to be sent around later so I can finally read the slides. My best solution is to work on two computers at once, so I can ignore the one where the presentation is taking place and send messages like chat on the other computer. But then I can't share my screen in the meeting, so no matter what teams is just stupidly designed and Microsoft is ignoring us all in the quest for more money.
