Hiding Teams Control Task Bar (at Bottom of Teams Screen) During a Meeting (So Screenshot of Shared Screen is Clean)

Anyone know if there's a way to hide the default Teams meeting control task bar at the bottom of the screen so I can take screenshots of what is being shared/displayed on the without that in the way? Thanks.

Also, Teams isn't a "Category" option when I'm posting this. Nor is it listed in the "Office Topic" while "Skype" still is. Might want to update that since Teams has been released. As such, I'm having to post in "Unknown/Other".

Based on your description, you want to hiding the Teams control task bar (like below picture). I just tested this on my side, the task bar will auto hiding after you move your mouse outside of the sharing screen for a while. Could you please test this on your side to see if this works for you?

    Hi Jennifer,

    I've been having the same issue of the toolbar not disappearing, and found this post when I searched for an answer.

    Unfortunately, your fix of moving my mouse off of the screen is not working and the toolbar will not go away. It's covering up parts of the screen that I need to see when someone is doing a demonstration on their screen.

    Do you have any other suggestions for removing the toolbar?

    Hi Jennifer,

    Yes it does disappear.  The problem is that usually everyone takes screenshots. And whenever we try to take a screenshot, it comes back and obscures the text/image that needs to be captured.  How to get rid of it during a screenshot?

    Jennifer;

    This is not acceptable...there are threads on this topic in 2018, 2019, and 2020, with hundreds of people expressing their high level of annoyance and hatred for this “feature”...so i wont repeat all the reasons why this makes for a **** user experience. I really cant understand how the dev team can continue to overlook this feedback and the obvious fail in terms of UX. I work for a 70K employee company and we use Teams and I’m confident everyone of us absolutely hates that you cant disable or move this task bar. 

    PLEASE fox this!!!!!
