Hiding Teams Control Task Bar (at Bottom of Teams Screen) During a Meeting (So Screenshot of Shared Screen is Clean)

Anyone know if there's a way to hide the default Teams meeting control task bar at the bottom of the screen so I can take screenshots of what is being shared/displayed on the without that in the way? Thanks.

Also, Teams isn't a "Category" option when I'm posting this. Nor is it listed in the "Office Topic" while "Skype" still is. Might want to update that since Teams has been released. As such, I'm having to post in "Unknown/Other".

Based on your description, you want to hiding the Teams control task bar (like below picture). I just tested this on my side, the task bar will auto hiding after you move your mouse outside of the sharing screen for a while. Could you please test this on your side to see if this works for you?

    Same. This is a frustration - I have been using the snipping tool and have been losing a lot of the information on the slides being shared by my global colleagues.

    Just piling on more requests for this to be changed. I agree this is a year old issue and its not being addressed. Come on MSFT listen to the customer. This tool bar is in the way. There is so much other blank real estate below it but for some reason it sits in the shared screen section making it block the actual content being displayed. Very annoying.

    Autohide is not the answer. We need a real fix to keep it out of the sharing section. 

    Please fix this ASAP.

    I am jumping in here. We have the same problem. I've tried relocating the mouse outside the window, but it is erratic. Sometimes it works, but mostly it never works. It's like it is set to stay there permanently. Does the host control it or something?

    Just started using MS Teams for meetings. This control task bar is VERY annoying. I was hoping to find some steps to follow in order to solve this issue. Surprised to see it has been requested for more than a year without any resolution. Is this ever going to be fixed? I hope we move on to another meeting platform if all my team approves. This is unacceptable.
