Keynote presentation in Teams

Hi

When presenting a keynote through sharing the screen in a meeting, the participants do not see the full window when pressing "Start presentation". I have done this many times before, recently a couple of weeks ago. Presenting a full screen view for the other in the meeting. Now they see just a "freezed" image of the cursor in a desktop mode of the presentation.

Have there been a update so keynote and team are not communicating - or maybe a overload of users in the last weeks?

Would really like to get help to solving this issue!

    The funny thing is: I have no problems whatsoever to share Keynote presentations on both my Macs. The (really great) "play presentation in a window"feature also worked from the very first day. So I didn't realize this bug exists until I got a support call today from a teacher. 

    Given that sharing works for me but not for others, Microsoft can't just put the blame on Apple, this is clearly a silly bug in Teams which has been waiting for a fix for months now. Perhaps MS should just add someone with a clue to their developer team in charge of Teams for macOS…

    Wow, when I wrote this in april I didnt thought that the post would have so many replys from all over the world.

    But the most surprising thing is that this problem isnt solved yet.

    Unfortunalty, my company is bound to use Teams as a digital workplace and we are not allowed to use other apps as Zoom.

    I have not yet found a good way to do presentations in Teams, but for now I use Chrome and connect my mac to a second screen so I can both see what the others see and at the same time have my presentation notes. But I cant see the other participants and it feels like I'm pitching to myself.

    I know that powerpoint runs smoothly, but no way that it can compete with Keynote when it comes to making presentations.

    Who wants to make a bet, what happens first:

    The pandemic is over and we're back to normal.

    Keynote runs smoothly on Teams.

    Dear Microsoft people, it is not a good answer to tell people to use the online version because you are not able to solve the app problem!

    This doesn't make any sense at all !

    You shouldn't be telling clients that you don't know what to do with the app so they should find an alternative way to use your own products.

    Please ladies and gentlemen, try to be a little bit more professional. This looks like a car manufacture saying that they don't know what is the problem with their cars and ask you to go by foot instead!

    Do you have a mac? Try this with teams to be able to present:

    1. Click the Apple menu.
    2. Then, go to System Preferences > Click Security & Privacy > Privacy tab.
    3. Click Screen Recording.
    4. Click the lock icon to make changes.
    5. If required, enter your admin password.
    6. Finally, click the checkbox next to Microsoft Teams.
    7. A notification window will ask you to restart it. Agree.
    8. Then, try again and see if the issue persists.

    Hello Ankita - 

    I have been having this same problem for months (unable to see keynote presentation in presentation mode when using Teams client), so thank you for the suggestion to use the web client. 

    However, I would like to note that audio and video performance through the Teams web client is sub-standard as compared with the desktop client. I would request that you please address the bug so that we can get the most out of Teams + Keynote.
