Looks the MS developers did not figure it out that a Android device can have multiple LEGIT network connections possible - through the built-in LTE, built-in Wifi or any USB serial or USB dongle of some sort. I appreciate the progress you guys made with MS Teams in such a short time - Office developers should look at you for example to come out of the Cretaceous period faster.
That being said - you need to balance the security freak-outs with the reality of having multiple VALID interfaces to one device - in this case an Android phone - and graciously flip from one to the other without having the application lock up or refreshing every second trying to access an interface that was just switched away from , operationally (but not administratively switched off)
