MS Teams android app keeps refreshing

After logging into the Teams app, it keeps on refreshing every second making it impossible to work until the app is reopened. This is a recurring problem and half the time it works smoothly, other times it doesn't.

    I use this for a work profile, and the problem is still there. On my PC, have found that if I open Outlook first and then MS Teams, Outlook disconnects less often. On the phone, MS Teams still keeps refreshing when on wi-fi. It's like Microsoft are not even reading this string of comments.... Helloooo... Anybody there???? Almost a week and the problem is not fixed.

    I checked the permission section of the app and everything was in deny, I gave the permission like use contacts , use mic and camera while using the app and it fixed the issue for me. Teams is no longer refreshing on my android phone

    looks like it's affecting OneDrive as well, no network connection available when uploading files on wifi, ok on 4G or phone reboot.

    i suspect that the root cause for all the issues are the Microsoft authenticator app

    I've been having the same issue for approximately a week. Pixel 3 XL with April's Android updates.

    I have not been able to fix it by turning off WiFi.

    What I DID see work was when the issue occurs, quit the Teams app, then open and close the Microsoft Authenticator app. Then open the Teams app again. FYI - when this happens to Teams, Outlook and To-Do also break for me. As someone above said, it seems the commonality is Authenticator.

    Permissions change didn't work for me.  Turning off Wifi and restarting does fix it.  Wow, the authenticator fix works as well!  What does WiFi have to do with Authenticator?
