Accessing and using Microsoft Teams on smartphones and tablets across platforms
I just got Authenticator version 6.2105.2880 via the beta and everything is working so far. We'll see if it lasts!

After logging into the Teams app, it keeps on refreshing every second making it impossible to work until the app is reopened. This is a recurring problem and half the time it works smoothly, other times it doesn't.

Nope, still broken.
I signed-out of my teams account. Since the refresh problem started, signing in would only consistently work on LTE, not on Wifi. On Wifi it would most of the time give a "Something went wrong" message when signing in, after approving through the MS Authenticator.
I just updated to the beta Authenticator 6.2105.2880 on my pixel 4a (5G).
After that, signing in on Wifi went without a problem. Just as a test, I signed-out and in again. All good.
The app is not refreshing so far...
When Teams is in the crazy-refresh mode, my Teams status is "undefined" and it gives an error when trying to set it to a value.
After the authenticator update, the status works fine.
Turning off wifi worked for me as well. This looks to be bug.it was very annoying and made it unusable. Microsoft team should look into the issue.
I had the same errors when signing in, but once in a while I could get in on wifi. After I installed that new beta everything worked fine for about an hour and then the problems resumed, just like with prior 'solutions'.
This morning I got a new Teams update (non-beta version 1416/1.0.0.2021042002) and it's been working perfectly on wifi for almost 2 hours now, which is longer than with any Authenticator update I've tested since this issue began.
