MS Teams android app keeps refreshing

After logging into the Teams app, it keeps on refreshing every second making it impossible to work until the app is reopened. This is a recurring problem and half the time it works smoothly, other times it doesn't.

    A quick workaround, turn wi-fi off then on again. It fixes it for a while. Maybe after 2 years or more, Microsoft might fix it.

    Removing the app or clearing cache had no effect for me at least and it's just a frustrating waste of time.

    Same issue on Pixel 4a - app  refreshes over and over again.  Uninstall and change cleaning did not fix the ussue.  This is a new issue.  It started in the past two weeks.

    I have problems with outlook not syncing too as well as teams constantly refreshing. Started a few days ago 

    WiFi on off fixes teams. Surely a bug

    Having this issue as well. With this many people reporting it there should be a bug identified on this.
