MS Teams android app keeps refreshing

After logging into the Teams app, it keeps on refreshing every second making it impossible to work until the app is reopened. This is a recurring problem and half the time it works smoothly, other times it doesn't.

    Doesn't work for me, Authenticator isn't running to be force stopped so not sure that's applicable for all.

    The other 'fix' only works if you are in a WiFi area. If you are on the move on cellular already, you cannot enact this 'fix'.

    Best 'solution' so far appears to be to join beta for both Authenticator and Intune Company Portal - but I'm monitoring

    Try force stopping the Authentication app if you also have that installed. That was causing the problem for me. The Authentication screen kept trying to load interchangeable with Teams app, and there was what appeared to be a constant refresh loop.

    You need to unfuck this MS. The problem has been going on for at least a month. It seems to be ameliorated by turning off WiFi. 

    My entire company lives on Teams, especially during the pandemic, and everybody with an Android is extremely frustrated.

    Same. Which frankly is a stupid solution. It seems ANY network change fixes it,, i.e. transitioning from one to the other.

    I've had the issue when on 4/5G when out and about, and then there's NO way to force to WiFi as I'm not in range of any. 

    Has anyone from MSFT acknowledged and looking into this? Other Android MSFT apps seem fine.

    Yesssss!  After battling this for days, wifi on/off makes it go away at least for the time being.
