External Presenters in Teams Live Events

Can external presenters be tied to a Gmail account and present?  Are there limitations because we tested with two external presenters after adding them into the Tenant as guests and they couldn't join and if they did join they couldn't present.

Where is a list of steps for setting up an external presenter?  Are their videos to show a presenter how to share their screen?  Why is it that you can only queue up the first item and presenter and send live and you can't queue up the next...there is no point to the queue if it can't be used to get stuff ready to show.

Why can't we include audio in a presenters' material?

    Dear MM Allegro,

Thanks for the Jose’s share firstly, I did some test and searched some docs about Live event, so make the following additions.

#1. If you want to join a live event as guest presenter, please try to do as this way:

Step 1. Add the guest to event group as presenter and schedule the Live event.

Step 2. Open the live event in Calendar, then scroll down and right click on the Join live event link and Copy Link. (we do it because there is no “Calendar” in guest account)

Step 3. Send the invitation link to guest, they could copy this link to a web browser and select to open Teams client. This should take guest to the Live Event meeting and should be able to join as an presenter.

#2. The question for produce a live event, you could see this doc: Produce your live event, there are detailed introduce about schedule a live event, Queue, share the desktop or window and so on.

#3. There are some difference between presenter and producer on live event control, see related doc: Present in a live event in Teams

#4. Add audio to the live event using any audio capture device that will take balanced audio (XLR connector) or even a headphone style 1/8-inch plug and let you plug into the computer running Teams via USB. Reference for you: Best practices for producing a Teams live event

Feel free to let me know if there are other questions.

    Thanks,

    Linda

Thank you for your steps.  We did actually do this and the external presenters clicked on the link but were unable to join the event as presenters.
