External Presenters in Teams Live Events

Can external presenters be tied to a Gmail account and present?  Are there limitations because we tested with two external presenters after adding them into the Tenant as guests and they couldn't join and if they did join they couldn't present.

Where is a list of steps for setting up an external presenter?  Are their videos to show a presenter how to share their screen?  Why is it that you can only queue up the first item and presenter and send live and you can't queue up the next...there is no point to the queue if it can't be used to get stuff ready to show.

Why can't we include audio in a presenters' material?

    we are also working with Microsoft's live assistance and are still having trouble.  We have more scheduled and I will post back our results after we finish.  I'd say over all Microsoft has some problems with teams meeting and TEams live...we have trouble with both...chat in one and external presenters in the other.  Zoom and other offerings do appear to be more stable.

    We get your frustration. We are currently doing test runs utilizing Microsofts "Teams Live Assistance". If we finally get any consistent results I'll post back to this thread.

    We continue to have hit or miss on Externals invited as Presenters.

    Teams client appears to hang when Externals have Teams for other organization Teams.

    Also had two Externals added with their hospital email addresses...

    Could not get them in. They gave us their personal Microsoft accounts ......we added them.... and that worked 1st try !!!

    Our business units are getting frustrated and also point to how easy Zoom is and Google Hangouts..

    We created a test account and ensured that it could connect. We then at times share that account with Externals.. then change the PWD when meeting is over.

    Any update on this? It is extremely frustrating that we cannot get external users into the platform as presenters. We have done every possible step and work around. We've chatted with numerous Microsoft Support members. No solution. We are at a point where we will have to switch to Zoom. We want to use Live Events for our company webinars, but it's not just not user friendly and it is unpredictable.

    I think that's the thing, as long as all parties (internal and external) have Teams, then it doesn't matter.  It works as expected.  We did an event and had external parties come in and when they already have Teams then perfect.  Those who did not have teams in their environment were not able to join and were thrown into the event as a guest and watched the event.  Even though we specified their address as presenter.  The only work around was we had to have them dial in to the event with the presenter dial in and that worked.  Not ideal but was a good work around.
