External Presenters in Teams Live Events

Can external presenters be tied to a Gmail account and present?  Are there limitations because we tested with two external presenters after adding them into the Tenant as guests and they couldn't join and if they did join they couldn't present.

Where is a list of steps for setting up an external presenter?  Are their videos to show a presenter how to share their screen?  Why is it that you can only queue up the first item and presenter and send live and you can't queue up the next...there is no point to the queue if it can't be used to get stuff ready to show.

Why can't we include audio in a presenters' material?

    Update:

Used a 2nd Win 10 Pro PC to download Teams and try the guest @gmail.com login that failed on 1st PC. The Guest login worked just fine.

I removed Teams (and the Teams Machine-Wide Installer) and re-loaded Teams. on my 1st PC.. still could not get Teams to login and it fails again with 0xCAA20003.  Clearly the Teams client on PC #1 is corrupted / registry (?) blocking login. This same PC works for my corporate login to Teams.

This is where people would say it works 50% of the time. Not an issue with the Guest account but an issue somehow on the Windows client PC doing the logins.

We too have mixed results in that testing some GMAIL and HOTMAIL accounts will connect and others AOL, GMAIL and HOTMAIL will not connect and wind up generating the xxx20003 error seen here:

    https://support.office.com/en-us/article/why-am-i-having-trouble-signing-in-to-microsoft-teams-a02f683b-61a3-4008-9447-ee60c5593b0f?ui=en-US&rs=en-US&ad=US&fromAR=4

We thought it was due to OLD passwords or lack of MFA (SMS). We changed the PWD of the gmail.com account in Microsoft (LIVE) portal (not the gmail.com side) and set SMS authentication on.

0xCAA2000 3 You ran into an authorization problem. Make sure your date and time are set up correctly. Whether your date and time are accurate will affect your ability to connect to secure sites (https).

    Dear All,

I just want to say that I am very interested in the solution to this problem. I want to host a seminar where we usually invite guest to be presenters. As of now, this works for a meeting but not for live event. Let us know when this is fixed.

    Hi All,

Thanks for your posting. We received many users reported about External presenter doesn’t not working in Live Events, and it may occur periodically. We have aware of this problem and the related team is analyzing the logs and working hard to investigate it right now. There is no ETA currently.

I will help you monitor the process, if there are any updates, I will let you know immediately.

Your understanding and cooperation are highly appreciated. Thanks for your support of Microsoft.

    Best Regards,

    Sylvie

I actually tried the same thing, with the same result as well, even trying to invite my daughters outlook.com account didnt work, as she didnt have teams licensed, and even though they say they are giving teams away for free right now, it seems to not be the case if you are using it for personal use and not tied to a school or business.

I am looking forward to the day when we can tell our large enterprise user base they can invite people outside the company to present, and those folks can simply fill out their name ala zoom.
