I want to know about teams M1 support as teams through rosetta glitches and Touch Bar controls especially leave button doesn't work. When can we get an arm based M1 apple silicon optimized teams?

The latest version still does not work without Rosetta. When will a full version for Apple Silicon be released?

I'd like to know that, too. On the bright side - it looks like only the installer still uses Intel (don't ask me why....). Once installed, it's pure Apple Silicon. At least I don't see any "Intel" kind applications when filtering for either "Microsoft" or "Teams" in Activity Monitor.

The audio driver is still Intel code.

Audio driver remaining on Intel is weirdly odd. I wonder why?

It's a relatively tiny part of the whole package.

How have folks been finding the latest beta releases?

I'm running Microsoft Teams Version 1.5.00.15001-E. It was last updated on 5/2/22. I've found it very stable (However, I wish they'd update the previous little Intel audio driver). Even if it doesn't change the performance, knowing it's not in emulation would give me that warm cozy feeling.

If your question is asking how to locate them, there is a link further up in the thread.

If your question is asking for peoples opinions on how it runs on their system:

I am running 1.5.00.14302-E from 2022-03-25. This fixed all my camera colour issues. It has been super stable to the point that I completely forgot all about this forum thread and haven't even thought about the fact I'm running beta. It now "just works". Very apple of them :)

Like others, it would be nice to see the entire process switched over to native binaries rather than things like the sound running through intel. But hey, even Apple haven't shifted all their stuff yet. VisualizerService-x86 from apple music is even running on Intel. Lets hope the new Music app in MacOS 13 fixes these little things too.
