I want to know about teams M1 support as teams through rosetta glitches and Touch Bar controls especially leave button doesn't work. When can we get an arm based M1 apple silicon optimized teams?

It would seem that in the last week or so they have added a "preview build" which you can download. I have only just installed this a few minutes ago, but I am making the assumption that this client will auto update.

What I am hoping for, is that the Microsoft AutoUpdate tool will pick it up and take care of things now, I've set my channel to preview in the update tool (found under advanced). We shall see if this assumption is correct or not :)

1.5.00.19352 has a funny bug where it hangs up the call when someone shares their screen…

Its been known that the Core Audio Driver within Teams is still running on Intel code, despite the fact that the rest of the app is now on AS. Unfortunately nothing can be done except wait for MS to update that part of the package to native AS code.

    Hi guys,

finally Microsoft released a BETA version for MAC M1. Inside the Activity Monitor I can see only "Core Audio Driver (MSTeamsAudioDevice.driver)" running with Rosetta (Intel). Unfortunatelly I noticed that, after sometime, it turns on the Intel one.

It seems that you install the Beta for M1 and then there is the auto-update that convert it to Intel one.

Do you know how can we get rid of this?

    Sincerely,

    Luca
