Hey N. Cox-
Have you done the firmware update to the dock? It may not help, but worth a shot. It did not help us.

So I keep having an issue where people are losing network connection while on teams meeting while using a dock. We have Lenovo USB-C docks, but when you are connected to a teams meeting with a network cable plugged into the dock. It drops the meeting, it could be 5 mins into the meeting, 20 mins into the meeting. I cannot find a connection to the length of time it gives you online before you drop.
It only happens to you if you have a USB-C Lenovo Dock, plugged into a Lenovo laptop, with a network cable plugged into it. If you pulled the cable and work off wifi it NEVER has a problem.
I have done dock driver updates, dock firmware update.
Any ideas? has anyone else had this problem?

Hey N. Cox-

I have,
It’s happened on all hardware models:
X280, T480, X390 either/or using ThinkPad Hybrid USB-C (40AF) and/or ThinkPad Gen 2 USB-C (40AS)
Docks and laptops all have firmware updates. It’s driving users (and me) insane
Same issue here.
Lenovo T490 laptop and ThinkPad USB-C Dock Gen 2 for several users.
Disconnecting network cable and reconnecting does not fix, but disconnecting power from the dock and reconnecting fixing the issue termporarily.
I want to note, it is not only related to Thinkpads only, we have the problems on our Surface Pro 7 too...
It is happening randomly and on most of our Hardware :/
We have the same issue to report as well. Lenovo Gen 2 Docking Station USB-C. Things we've tried so far with no solution:
New observations:
I am currently testing a scenario without using HDMI, instead i am using a DVI/DP cable. I noticed an audio source in Device Manager identified as Display Audio Device (HDMI).
So far so good. With others in this forum dealing with this issue, any of you using HDMI between the monitor(s) and Dock?
