MS Teams and network drops

So I keep having an issue where people are losing network connection while on teams meeting while using a dock. We have Lenovo USB-C docks, but when you are connected to a teams meeting with a network cable plugged into the dock. It drops the meeting, it could be 5 mins into the meeting, 20 mins into the meeting. I cannot find a connection to the length of time it gives you online before you drop.

It only happens to you if you have a USB-C Lenovo Dock, plugged into a Lenovo laptop, with a network cable plugged into it. If you pulled the cable and work off wifi it NEVER has a problem.

I have done dock driver updates, dock firmware update.

Any ideas? has anyone else had this problem?

I have the exact same problem as well.  USB-C dock with Lenovo Thinkpad laptop.  When using at home without the USB-C, no issues.  In the office, everyday issues with MS Teams.  Drops LAN connection at random times (usually a few minutes into the call or meeting).  Unplugging the network cable and re-plugging solved before, but that does not work now.  The reboot works, but takes too long only to face the same fate when I join a MS teams call/meeting again.

    Very frustrated.

We did a Test with a 4K Video which runs "24/7" on the laptop over usb-c lan. No issues at all.

After 10 Minutes MS Teams the usb-c still crashes (was not hot at all)

I think there has been some progress with this

Lenovo Vantage is offering the update:

Generic DisplayLink Driver for USB Docks and Adapters (Windows 10 Version 1607 or Later) - 10 [32,64]

    • 10.0.237.0

This includes a new Realtek Driver (I can't recall the version number, but I remember that device manager stated it was released 31st October 2020). One of my staff members has been in all day teams meetings with the ethernet plugged into the dock without issue! But alas, another member of staff has the same, and they are still experiencing issues

Upon looking at this thread: rtump64x64.sys bluescreen on X1 Yoga Gen 4 attached to ThinkPad Thunderbolt 3 Dock - Type 40AC-English Community (lenovo.com) - apart from the BSODs, there seems to be an even newer version of the Realtek driver available in this thread for the Lenovo Docks.

I haven't been able to do any testing yet though (for either driver)
