MS Teams and network drops

So I keep having an issue where people are losing network connection while on teams meeting while using a dock. We have Lenovo USB-C docks, but when you are connected to a teams meeting with a network cable plugged into the dock. It drops the meeting, it could be 5 mins into the meeting, 20 mins into the meeting. I cannot find a connection to the length of time it gives you online before you drop.

It only happens to you if you have a USB-C Lenovo Dock, plugged into a Lenovo laptop, with a network cable plugged into it. If you pulled the cable and work off wifi it NEVER has a problem.

I have done dock driver updates, dock firmware update.

Any ideas? has anyone else had this problem?

We have users with all sorts of combinations of DisplayPort, HDMI, DisplayPort - DVI etc. and it all still occurs.

One thing I've yet to explore, is if it happens on all Teams calls or only those with more than two parties

So far so good. With others in this forum dealing with this issue, any of you using HDMI between the monitor(s) and Dock?

I connected an HDMI < DVI cable between the dock and the monitor and I have the problem too.

We have the same issue to report as well. Lenovo Gen 2 Docking Station USB-C. Things we've tried so far with no solution:

    1. Replace Dock
    2. Update dock firmware (if available)
    3. Replace Dock with 230W model
    4. Change realtek driver to a newer one (downloaded from Realtek's website)
    5. Reinstall Teams (Clearing App Data as well)
    6. Replace laptop completely

    New observations:

    1. Users with this issue have the same monitors and plugged in using 1 hdmi cable
    2. Users with this issue report no problem when working from home (no dock)

I am currently testing a scenario without using HDMI, instead i am using a DVI/DP cable. I noticed an audio source in Device Manager identified as Display Audio Device (HDMI).

So far so good. With others in this forum dealing with this issue, any of you using HDMI between the monitor(s) and Dock?

I want to note, it is not only related to Thinkpads only, we have the problems on our Surface Pro 7 too...

It is happening randomly and on most of our Hardware :/
