Same problem here. Teams worked fine till yesterday. Since today it doesn't start up anymore. This is the output from the command line:

    Hi Shawn,

How's it going? Has the Microsoft Team engineers found a solution?

There's a lot of evidence here that Teams is failing in MacOS... Causing a lot of problems and delaying a lot of projects.

Surprised it's been allowed to go on so long.

Can you provide an update for the group of frustrated customers?

My teams is definitely not working, sounds very similar to the original post.

    Thanks,

    Eric

    Hi,

i was able to fix the startup problem. Now Teams is working again.

I had to remove Teams completely from my Mac using AppCleaner. Then i installed Teams again with the pkg installer as mentioned here:

    https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/all/teams-app-install-on-macos-catalina/abc44501-dd51-4991-977c-9f13e9872ccf

Hope this is helpfull for others as well.

    Kind Regards

    Reinhold

    Hi everyone,

I don´t know if this is going to help you guys but it worked for me.

After some time struggling with the instructions found in several threads, usually all of them telling me to delete stuff from some folders, my brother told me that for he to be able to use Slack, he had to be logged in a browser first before being able to work with the application.

We gave that ¨solution¨ a try and we got logged in https://teams.microsoft.com/, using Chrome. After the login, we closed the ¨teams¨ app and opened it again. This time it worked properly.

    Hope it helps.
