MS Teams for mac unable to share desktop or other screens - app and online versions

In MS Teams , I cannot share my Desktop / Application Windows. Teams alerts me that it needs Screen Recording permissions, although I have actually granted these before, and the regarding boxes in System Preferences are already ticked.

I have the newest version of Catalina and Teams. Nevertheless I don´t know exactly which applications are blocking the Teams screen sharing and why., I have followed all suggestions such as using the online version, same issue occurs, removing VPNs and rebooting and updating apps and the mac itself......I use Teams constantly for work and this is causing me a major hassle!

Thanks

I have started to have exactly the same problem since this morning.  No changes have been made on my MBP since yesterday, up to when everything was working smoothly.  I have tried the work around, reinstalling a fresh copy as well as clearing cache.  I don't know what else I could have done.

    Any idea???

I have exactly the same problem, #2, and the solution described works. Thanks.

Anyway, I tried also disinstalling Teams, cleaning Mac cache, rebooting, reinstalling Teams, logging out/in, always same problem... hope there will be a fix soon.

Had the same issue, check that you have given permission for accessibility for teams under the Security and Privacy.

I hadn't got this ticked, once I ticked it I then had the option to screen share solving problem #2 for me.

Well just throwing my hat in as well - my school has gone to distance learning over Teams (terrible platform for it, IMHO) and there are 4 of us teachers using Macs - ALL HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM with screen sharing, as identified by OP in Feb 2020. How is this not fixed Microsoft?! Unacceptable.
