MS Teams for mac unable to share desktop or other screens - app and online versions

In MS Teams , I cannot share my Desktop / Application Windows. Teams alerts me that it needs Screen Recording permissions, although I have actually granted these before, and the regarding boxes in System Preferences are already ticked. 

I have the newest version of Catalina and Teams. Nevertheless I don´t know exactly which applications are blocking the Teams screen sharing and why., I have followed all suggestions such as using the online version, same issue occurs, removing VPNs and rebooting and updating apps and the mac itself......I use Teams constantly for work and this is causing me a major hassle!

    I'm having the same problem. It started with one mac last week, now we're up to 4 users having this issue. Performed all the steps. I even went so far as to wipe and rebuild a machine. Same issue.

    I am also having this issue.

    • I've previously enabled screen recording in Mac security settings.  Upon using MS Teams recently, I was prompted that in order to share my screen - I needed to enable in Security settings.
    • When going to Security Settings -> Screen Recording - MS Teams was already checked.  I went back to Teams and was unable to share my screen.
    • I then quit MS Teams entirely - re-opened - re-attempted to share and it did not work.  Went back to Security Settings -> Toggled MS Teams off - then on again - and was still unable to share.
    • I restarted my Mac - re-opened teams - got the same prompt - toggled MS Teams off and then quit the application.  Re-opened the application - attempted to share - toggled MS teams on - restarted the app - attempted to share - and it did not work.
    • I then attempted the 'reset ScreenCapture approval status for com.microsoft.teams' fix that was posted earlier - and in the terminal said it was reset successfully.  But now - when opening Teams - attempting to share - and going to Security Settings -> Screen Recording - there is no longer an option for MS Teams.
    • I have also completely uninstalled MS Teams - and re-installed - rebooted my Mac - and when going to Security Settings -> Screen Recording - there is no MS Teams option and I cannot share my screen.

    Go to MS Teams switch it to full screen mode, you will be prompted to go to settings, just the info will be thru "pop up" message and you should see the option in settings again...

    I have the same issue and the screen sharing works just in the full screen mode...

    Go to MS Teams switch it to full screen mode, you will be prompted to go to settings, just the info will be thru "pop up" message and you should see the option in settings again...

    I have the same issue and the screen sharing works just in the full screen mode...
