MS Teams for mac unable to share desktop or other screens - app and online versions

In MS Teams , I cannot share my Desktop / Application Windows. Teams alerts me that it needs Screen Recording permissions, although I have actually granted these before, and the regarding boxes in System Preferences are already ticked. 

I have the newest version of Catalina and Teams. Nevertheless I don´t know exactly which applications are blocking the Teams screen sharing and why., I have followed all suggestions such as using the online version, same issue occurs, removing VPNs and rebooting and updating apps and the mac itself......I use Teams constantly for work and this is causing me a major hassle!

    Facing the same issue. Have been using teams on MAC BOOK PRO for over 7 months now and no issues. However the issue occured today, and have tried all the options. uninstalling and reinstalling, updating the Operating System, but no luck. It works once and then stops working again. 

    This is frustrating - as screen sharing is an important aspect of my job and have already spent my entire day just fixing this problem with no luck. 

    Can Microsoft TEAMS please provide a solution for the same?

    Hi Chris,

    Open the chat in a new window & then try to screen share. It worked for me. Hope this helps.

    I am having the same exact issues as Chris, and have already done everything you listed in your reply. I have also unistalled delete all Teams folders and restarted my mac and reinstalled the app... to no avail. Please help!

    what has worked for me is keep the privacy and setting windows open all the time. > first thing you do before starting teams - select - unselect - select the TEAMS option in Privacy TAB > Screen Recording. 

    Keep this window open all the time, and start teams. If you close the Security and Privacy window - screen sharing will disappear.
