MS Teams for mac unable to share desktop or other screens - app and online versions

In MS Teams , I cannot share my Desktop / Application Windows. Teams alerts me that it needs Screen Recording permissions, although I have actually granted these before, and the regarding boxes in System Preferences are already ticked.

I have the newest version of Catalina and Teams. Nevertheless I don´t know exactly which applications are blocking the Teams screen sharing and why., I have followed all suggestions such as using the online version, same issue occurs, removing VPNs and rebooting and updating apps and the mac itself......I use Teams constantly for work and this is causing me a major hassle!

Thanks

I'm facing the same issue. It's particularly annoying that I can't share anything from within the web version of teams on Mac, as I have to use it quite often with a different MS account. Even desktop is not shareable from the web version, which makes things a lot worse for me.

    I agree with you

They should solve the problem as soon as possible, especially during this period when so many people have to work from home.

it is very frustrating this substantial difference between the Windows version and the MacOS version.

This issue is really frustrating. I use ZOOM most of the time just because of this!

We were noticing a similar issue but found that it works fine as long as Teams AND the app you want to share are not in full screen. If Excel, the browser, or any other app that we wanted to share on the Mac was in full screen, it wouldn't appear in the list of windows to be shared. We've actually noticed weird behavior from a number of apps on Mac if they are in full screen.

I hope this problem will be solved as soon as possible because it must be possible to share individual application windows even if they are open in full screen mode.

Otherwise the usability of MS Teams on Mac OS Catalina is affected

Please try to solve the issue as soon as possible.

This issue is happening to me as well. I point my share screen to my remote desktop but it only shows the app connection window and does not show my actual remote desktop. Hoping this is fixed soon as it does impair productivity. Thanks.
