MS Teams for mac unable to share desktop or other screens - app and online versions

In MS Teams , I cannot share my Desktop / Application Windows. Teams alerts me that it needs Screen Recording permissions, although I have actually granted these before, and the regarding boxes in System Preferences are already ticked. 

I have the newest version of Catalina and Teams. Nevertheless I don´t know exactly which applications are blocking the Teams screen sharing and why., I have followed all suggestions such as using the online version, same issue occurs, removing VPNs and rebooting and updating apps and the mac itself......I use Teams constantly for work and this is causing me a major hassle!

    Not sure this is helpful but I had trouble sharing my Remote Desktop app screen on Teams. I figured out my problem..... Teams wouldn’t reference other desktops on my Mac. I learned the solution was that I had to move my Remote Desktop app window to the same Desktop that Teams app was open on. Basically the 2 apps had to be on the same desktop on my Mac to be able to share my screen. It does not appear the app can be expanded where they take up a whole Desktop either. Good luck!

    Same issue. A client who wants to share her screen on a Mac only gets a black box with no options when clicking the share tray button. 

    Unhelpful at best.

    Hi, just sharing the same experience that my screen sharing was not working with Mac OS Catalina. I did workaround to set a setting in "Security & Privacy" -> Full Disk Access & File  & Folders. Just check the MS Team on those 2 option and shared screen start working. Not sure what is the impact with the security may be others can give feedback.

    and now you can share only one application window? (e.g. excel file, word file, ...) 

    MS Teams allows to share desktop screen also in MacOS version

    the problem is that with the MacOS versione you can't share an application window

    i hope they fix this problem

    it would be good if someone could tell us that the fix on this problem is planned

    we'd at least have a date on which to hope this problem is finally solved.
