Have you been running it with "System Preferences" open in the background? I found this worked although not all the bugs are fixed.
Kind regards, Ruth

In MS Teams , I cannot share my Desktop / Application Windows. Teams alerts me that it needs Screen Recording permissions, although I have actually granted these before, and the regarding boxes in System Preferences are already ticked.
I have the newest version of Catalina and Teams. Nevertheless I don´t know exactly which applications are blocking the Teams screen sharing and why., I have followed all suggestions such as using the online version, same issue occurs, removing VPNs and rebooting and updating apps and the mac itself......I use Teams constantly for work and this is causing me a major hassle!
Thanks

Hi,
I am also having an issue with Teams running on a brand new 27inch Apple iMac running MacOS Catalina 10.15.7
I have been through all the fixes in this forum post and no luck, Teams will not share the screen unless I uninstall and re-install the Teams application, then it will work for one chat/video call and then will stop working after that. It is not really reliable.
It only seems allow you to share power point files, even if you browse the computer all other file extensions are greyed out even PDFs.
Does anybody have any ideas how to fix this? or when it will be fixed by Microsoft, or anything else I can try. I am running out of options and I am tempted to re-wipe the mac and only run Teams to see if this fixes the issue.
Other users running Catalina 10.15.7 don't seem to have this issue :-(.
Many thanks,
Same problem here. There is no Teams checkbox in the permissions for Screen Recording.
I'm having the same issue only that Teams doesn't even show up in the list for Screen Recording in System Preferences/Security.
I have the exact same issue. Teams does not appear in the list of screen recording apps in the system preferences. This makes it impossible to give teams the rights to share the screen. Very annoying...
