MS Teams for mac unable to share desktop or other screens - app and online versions

In MS Teams , I cannot share my Desktop / Application Windows. Teams alerts me that it needs Screen Recording permissions, although I have actually granted these before, and the regarding boxes in System Preferences are already ticked. 

I have the newest version of Catalina and Teams. Nevertheless I don´t know exactly which applications are blocking the Teams screen sharing and why., I have followed all suggestions such as using the online version, same issue occurs, removing VPNs and rebooting and updating apps and the mac itself......I use Teams constantly for work and this is causing me a major hassle!

    Before you have checked the permissions, do you tried to share the screen?

    Checked the permissions and Teams still does not come up in the list as an option for Screen Recording

    This worked for me - thank you! 

    For some reason the pop up window "Microsoft Teams would like to record this computer's screen' does not appear unless Teams is in full screen mode when you try to screen share for the first time.

    And you have managed to check the app permissions in Privacy settings? Or your problem is not regarding this?
