MS Teams for mac unable to share desktop or other screens - app and online versions

In MS Teams , I cannot share my Desktop / Application Windows. Teams alerts me that it needs Screen Recording permissions, although I have actually granted these before, and the regarding boxes in System Preferences are already ticked.

I have the newest version of Catalina and Teams. Nevertheless I don´t know exactly which applications are blocking the Teams screen sharing and why., I have followed all suggestions such as using the online version, same issue occurs, removing VPNs and rebooting and updating apps and the mac itself......I use Teams constantly for work and this is causing me a major hassle!

Thanks

What worked for me is not closing the preferences app, just leave it open as it this, then share screen.

    Hi everyone!

It has a strange behavior, so far today I have been having meetings and everything has worked well.

What I suggest to work this around:

    • Stop giving permissions to the Teams app in ------Security and Privacy ---> "Full access Disk" and "Files and Folders" and assign the permissions again.
    • Stop and give again the permissions in "Recordings"
    • Once you have done this, play with the application, meaning enter "Meet Now" and try to share the screen,, if this doesn't work, log out and do this several times until you start seeing that the app has a strange behavior because there will be times that you can share screen and times that you don't.

Did this yesterday and so far I haven't had any problems.

PD: I am a Microsoft Partner and have raised a support ticket with technical consultants, one they give me an answer for this, I will share it and let you know.
