Failed to Update Your Profile! Every time whenever trying to sign in!

Whenever I open the app they ask "How would you like to appear on Teams?" After continuing always getting failed to update... Missed so many meeting due to it and still no solution. Tried creating a new account but it's the same.

    Thank you so much. Your troubleshoot procedure has worked. Now I am able to access Microsoft Teams by using my individual email id.

    [SOLVED] As suggested by the guys above, here is how I did it.

    1. logging into Teams(either web or desktop shows the same issue), the pop-up shows up, can't update the info.
    2. Go to MS account while keeping the pop-up there, delete the phone number in the account.
    3. Back to Teams, click Retry. It works!

    It seems to me that Teams cannot override the phone number (could be other fields in your cases) in the db.

    I am also facing the issue "Failed to update your profile" while trying to login Microsoft Teams with my individual credentials. I have followed all the procedures which are already mentioned here. I have also tried to open team from Microsoft Web. I have deleted my contact number and email id before updating it once again with the same contact number and email id. Still the problem persists. Kindly help me out to resolve this issue. I am not able to connect with Microsoft Customer Support Team. Please find below the snapshot of the error.

    I have the same problem, I even uninstall and install the app microsoft teams PC but nothing change. Both the web and PC app , whenever i sign in the notification "Failed to Update Your Profile" appear. I try to delete my phone number on my account then sign in again but even I write correctly code I still can't confirm it. But my mobile app don't have the problem. I really mad right now.
