Additional sign-in or account-related issues within Microsoft Teams for business
I am having the same problem with the Teams dialog box hanging on my Mac. I am using Mac OS 11.1 Big Sur. Is Teams compatible with this Mac OS version? Thanks.

I am trying to load the Teams app on my Mac and it just hangs with a box saying 'loading Microsoft Teams' after I have hit the 'sign in' box. I can sign in on the web version, but the app won't load. Can you help? Thank you

Hi Steve,
I think it is, but I have had issues with it too, so I am holding off updating anyone who uses Teams, until the teething issues are irradiated.
Have you tried logging another user in?
Thanks for getting back to me. No, I have not tried logging in as someone else. Not sure who I can login besides myself.
this works for me too! doggy MS developers!
Hi There folks,
I have had this same issue and it was driving me nuts, especially during interviews where there seemed to be some odd thing happening whereby I could not upload or open my PP presentations using the browser-based app. I think that I have sorted it out this morning though, and just so folk know, I had tried everything on all of the forums to no avail, I literally spent a day trying different things with no success, but now I think I have it sorted, for the record I am using High Sierra.
Seems the issue is with the Mac OS security settings, this is what I did:
system preferences> security & privacy
Now navigate the tab ribbon to the "privacy" section, from here navigate to the accessibility option in the left hand menu. You should then see a box entitled "Allow the apps below to control your computer". Below this, there are +/- buttons, clinch the
- button and add MS teams from the applications folder. As I had uninstalled then reinstalled, I found mine at the top of the list, not in it's alphabetical order.
Once this was done, I was able to load MS teams.
I hope that this helps.
Kind Regards, Pete :-)
This one worked for me. Thanks a ton!
