I am trying to load the Teams app on my Mac and it just hangs with a box saying 'loading Microsoft Teams' after I have hit the 'sign in' box. I can sign in on the web version, but the app won't load. Can you help? Thank you

I deleted the program and re-installed it and still get the same "loading" issue
See my latest reply in thread. You need to go into apple library folder and delete teams from there than delete app than move both to trash and delete from trash than you can re install Worked for me o posted how to find library file previously

!!!!! thanks doing this exactly 1) delete the teams app move to trash 2) - use finder (or terminal, etc) in finder-goto- " ~/Library/ " 3) in there, find Application Support/Microsoft/Teams delete all or drag to trash - 4) Empty trash folder 5) re-install Teams
worked fine started a chat window (as no other way i could find like hit devices in the user profile) than and chose correct microphone and video input
You're a genius, Sean! Tried all the other suggestions and nothing worked. So grateful to you for sharing this.
To summarize, the fix is to join a Teams meeting in the web version of Teams. Can be a meeting with yourself. That activates the camera and mic and then triggers the stuck Teams application to open. After that it opens every time!
