Teams app is stuck on 'loading' on Mac

I am trying to load the Teams app on my Mac and it just hangs with a box saying 'loading Microsoft Teams' after I have hit the 'sign in' box. I can sign in on the web version, but the app won't load. Can you help? Thank you

    I had exact same problem with the download on this Teams web site. Download and reloaded 3 times.

    The only way resolved is to have someone send you a Teams meeting invite. Click on the the link and when you see the next web site that shows click oN DOWNLOAD TEAMS APP. Don’t click on the use internet browser or the use computer app.

    When you click on Download Teams App, it downloads a different Teams App that actually WORKS RIGHT

    This works!

    "1. Open up Calander... go to a TEAMS meeting you have previously scheduled (if you don't have one, log onto the online webs browser version and quickly set one up and email yourself the link)

    1. Click the Link, it will open up your camera. close that program and then click on TEAM on your MAC

    WALA! it somehow fixes the problem!

    Oh thank heavens I saw this in the thread - I had tried ALL the different approaches, uninstalling, reinstalling, rebooting - but zapping the keychain items and then using another user solved the problem after a day of effort. THANK YOU SO MUCH. This worked like a charm and finally got Teams running on my computer again.
