I am trying to load the Teams app on my Mac and it just hangs with a box saying 'loading Microsoft Teams' after I have hit the 'sign in' box. I can sign in on the web version, but the app won't load. Can you help? Thank you

Thanks for getting back to me.  No, I have not tried logging in as someone else.  Not sure who I can login besides myself.

    Hi Steve,

I think it is, but I have had issues with it too, so I am holding off updating anyone who uses Teams, until the teething issues are irradiated.

Have you tried logging another user in?

I am having the same problem with the Teams dialog box hanging on my Mac.  I am using Mac OS 11.1 Big Sur.  Is Teams compatible with this Mac OS version?  Thanks.

Thank you to those that have posted.  I ended up using a bit of a combination of solutions in here to get it to work for me.  On my MacBook Air 2020 M1 with Big Sur, I had the same issue with it hanging up loading the app.  Tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times without success.  Tried Microsoft Support through my company admin panel and stumped the advisor.  Neither of us were able to find the Teams folder as it's hidden just going through normal Finder window.

    Here's what worked:

    1. In Spotlight, had to search for: "~/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Teams"
    2. Clicked to get into that folder, select all, then delete everything
    3. Reload the Teams app and used a different account (personal microsoft account rather than the business one I was trying to use before) and it let me log in and the app opened up normally
    4. I then signed out of my personal account and signed in using the business account that I had been trying in the first place and it worked this time!

I've been struggling with this for an entire week.  I've spent hours on the phone with MS Techs and they can't figure it out.  This worked for me!  Thank you!!

The only thing that I'm noticing is that there is a really long lag when it comes to using Teams.
