You should see a dropdown menu like this with the option to apply background effects which will then dropdown your options of backgrounds mine there is a replica of Stephenson`s Rocket which I was riding on the footplate

I also have a chromebook and have the same issue, looking at other articles it appears that backgrounds are only available on Mac or Windows 10.

    Hi,

I am using a Lenovo tablet and as I am still at school I use Microsoft teams to do my online lessons but I would like to get backgrounds so they aren't able to see my house.I click on the three dots but it doesn't say more options or add background affects. Please get backgrounds on all Lenovo tablets soon as I need to turn my camera on which will be no problem if I have a background.

    Emily

Hi Emily at the moment backgrounds is only available on desktop it isn`t available on laptops or tablets Microsoft need to shift their butts and get this sorted

Try ctrl / shift / P to blur the background sometimes it works

Apart from that you could stand a big board behind you and hang a picture on it -- just a thought :) :)
