i am unable to get the background settings in microsoft teams

Dear Team ,

 I am using the latest Teams app in my windows 10 laptop. During the meeting for the video I am unable to get the background setting to select a background for my video. Request your help .

    Is she using a desktop or a laptop if laptop backgrounds is unavailable if you are using a desktop run the Teams app and see if the option is there to change backgrounds as my picture shows further back if not you might have to update the app

    Hi my child can not get a background in teams.On her computer so would like to complain about it because her next lesson she has to use the background so please fix this utter white we wont rate it for full stars.

    Background filters only works on desktops for some reason only known to Microsoft it doesn`t work on laptops and tablets.

    What I have noticed if I log on to a meeting from an email link I get the option window to open for background filter but no backgrounds, but if I run the app on my desktop first then join the meeting I can change the background. The fun part is that you are logged on as running the meeting even though someone else is and if someone is sharing a powerpoint presentation you can control it lol

    Hi Emily at the moment backgrounds is only available on desktop it isn`t available on laptops or tablets Microsoft need to shift their butts and get this sorted

    Try ctrl / shift / P to blur the background sometimes it works

    Apart from that you could stand a big board behind you and hang a picture on it -- just a thought :) :)
